Shanghai Heyu Electromechanical 315 kWp BIPV Solar Project (Including Roof System and Plant Upgrade Works)

Congratulations on the successful grid connection and power generation of the Shanghai Heyu Electromechanical 315kWp BIPV Photovoltaic Project!

The project has a total installed capacity of 315kWp, with an estimated annual power generation of approximately 316,000 kWh. Over 25 years, it is projected to generate a cumulative total of approximately 7.9 million kWh, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by an estimated 6,777 tons. Taking into account the characteristics of the facility’s concrete roof structure, the project adopted Kuneng New Energy’s BIPV mounting system to achieve deep integration between the photovoltaic system and the building’s roof. This ensures that while the solar panels generate clean electricity, they also serve as a reliable structural component of the facility, providing a steady supply of green power to support the company’s operations.

In addition to completing the construction of the photovoltaic system, this project also included the reconstruction of approximately 5,000 square meters of waterproofing on the factory building’s exterior facade and the upgrade of 630 meters of the site’s main access road. This comprehensive approach ensures the safety of the building structure while simultaneously enhancing the site’s infrastructure and energy systems. Through systematic planning and construction, the photovoltaic power plant operates in synergy with the building structure, extending both power generation efficiency and the building’s lifespan to over 25 years.
